STATE HEALTH officials have alerted New Hampshire residents to the national recall of more than 2 million baby strollers due to the risk of entrapment and strangulation.
The strollers, made by Graco Children's Products Inc., are being recalled after Graco received four reports of infant deaths and other reports of injury. A child's neck can become entrapped by the stroller tray, putting infants at risk of strangulation, according to the state Department of Health and Human Services.
The products being recalled are the Graco Quattro Tour strollers manufactured before November 2006 and the MetroLite strollers made before July 2007. The strollers were sold at stores nationwide between November 2000 and December 2007.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact Graco for a free repair kit. Visit gracobaby.com for more details or call toll-free at 877-828-4046.
